16th Annual Charles “Red” Barrett Memorial Golf Tournament to be held June 8, 2007
May 1st, 2007
For sixteen years Rick Barrett has held an annual golf tournament in Wilson, NC to help raise money for WilMed Hospice, the local Hospice organization. The Charles “Red” Barrett Memorial golf tournament is held in honor of Rick’s father, a former Major League baseball player. The event has grown over the years and now raises around $20,000 per year for WilMed. The greatest benefit of the event is that it helps raise awareness of WilMed Hospice and the important work they do in the community. This year’s tournament will be held on Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Willow Springs Country Club in Wilson, NC.
