CityScape Builders won a Silver award last night at the 2009 Raleigh/Wake HBA Parade of Homes banquet. The winning entry in Catagory 9 ($429,900 - $458,899) was the Glendale plan in the Village Square @ Amberly.
The North Carolina Home Builders Association held their annual Star Awards gala last night in Charlotte. The awards recognize excellence in the home building industry in North Carolina. CityScape Builders was the winner of the award for Best Single Family Detached Home - $250,000-$500,000 for their Summerhill home in Village Square @ Amberly located in Cary.
For seventeen years the Barrett family has held an annual golf tournament in Wilson, NC to help raise money for WilMed Hospice, the local Hospice organization. The Charles “Red” Barrett Memorial golf tournament is held in honor of Rick’s father, a former Major League baseball player. The event has grown over the years and now raises around $20,000 per year for WilMed. The greatest benefit of the event is that it helps raise awareness of WilMed Hospice and the important work they do in the community. This year’s tournament will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Willow Springs Country Club in Wilson, NC.

They offer care for the patient whose illness is no longer responding to aggressive curative therapies. The Builder Blitz is a nationwide event, with Habitat affiliates from all over the country partnering with builders in their own communities, building 500 homes during the week of June 5th. CityScape Builders, along with 28 other builders, will construct twenty of the homes right here in Wake County.
